Vision, Mission and Goals
Vision:
To become a leading faculty in mathematics education, knowledge generation, research, and innovation at the national and regional levels.
Mission:
- To enhance the knowledge and academic capacities of faculty members and develop qualified academic staff through teaching, research, scholarships, and short-term training programs by applying recognized academic standards and modern technologies;
- To strengthen students' academic and professional capacities in accordance with the needs of society and the labor market and to provide an appropriate learning environment for educating competent professionals in mathematics, statistics, and computational sciences;
- To provide opportunities for conducting scientific research relevant to the needs of the country, producing high-quality academic outputs, and actively contributing to the scientific and sustainable development of society;
- To provide high-quality mathematics education in accordance with recognized higher education standards and to effectively deliver mathematics courses required by other faculties of Kabul University;
- To educate and prepare competent and committed professionals capable of providing academic, educational, computational, and managerial services throughout the country while promoting an open academic environment and strengthening academic cooperation.
