Under-graduate (Bachelor’s) Curriculum of the Uzbek Language and Literature Department

The bachelor’s program in Uzbek Language and Literature consists of eight semesters in total. The curriculum includes core courses, major courses, general-education (university-wide) courses, and Capstone/ thesis and research & methodology courses. Taking and completing core courses, major courses,  general-education (university-wide) courses, and Capstone/ thesis and research & methodology courses, is mandatory for students and successful completion of that course is required.

At the end of the academic program, the student selects a research project topic (monograph). Upon successful completion and defense of the monograph, the student is recognized as a graduate at the bachelor’s level.
