Under-graduate (Bachelor’s) Curriculum of the Dari Department

The bachelor’s program in Dari Language and Literature consists of eight semesters in total. The curriculum includes core courses, major courses, general-education (university-wide) courses, Capstone/ thesis and research & methodology courses, and elective courses. Taking and completing core courses, major courses,  general-education (university-wide) courses, and Capstone/ thesis and research & methodology courses, is mandatory for students; however, from among the elective courses, only one course is selected in each semester, and successful completion of that course is required.

At the end of the academic program, the student selects a research project topic (monograph). Upon successful completion and defense of the monograph, the student is recognized as a graduate at the bachelor’s level.
