The Faculty of Economics consists of the following five fields:

  3. Statistics and Econometrics
  4. Finance and Banking Affairs
  5. Accounting

Kabul University’s Faculty of Economics is committed to providing quality education and academic research not only in Afghanistan but also in the region; and to reinforce its status in management and economy through providing quality education, expanding cooperation, and signing MoUs with the national and international standardized organizations.

Mission

Kabul University’s Faculty of Economics as the largest educational center, providing services for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of economics and management is committed to:

  • Providing quality education and research services
  • Educating the students with the contemporary required economic skills
  • Providing a safe, secure, and supportive environment for the students
  • Participation of the lecturers, employees, and students in research services, consultations, learning programs, and other voluntary activities just for the public benefits of the community.
  • Educating students with economic skills and enabling them to use these skills in practice.
  • Providing economic education, to meet the necessities of the community on national and international levels.
  • Enabling lecturers to conduct preliminary and advanced research for the improvement and betterment of the faculty and to have them find out solutions for the existing problems in the economy and governmental agencies of the country.
  • Through conducting systematic research, consultations, and learning programs by lecturers and students, enriching the public benefits of the community, commercial committees, and governmental agencies.
