_Vision

_{The Department of Geography, by providing effective scientific and educational services for the youth, has empowered our dear homeland Afghanistan in the field of academic progress, development and human capacity building. The vision of the Department of Geography is to create a well-known scientific core related to geographical issues in the country and the region, as well as to create a quality scientific education system in accordance with international standards and norms.}

_Mission

_{Accurate knowledge of the surface of the earth in relation to humans, effective use of natural and human resources, evaluation of its advantages and disadvantages, as well as access to natural facilities and resources of the earth are the basic rights of citizens of any country. To research this national ideal, the establishment of educational institutions and training in the field of geography with the aim of training professional and specialized staff in the field geography is an urgent national need. In order to achieve these structure goals, the existence of the geography department is adorned with the common sciences of the following goals.}
