Department of Innovation

The Department of Innovation and operates under the Vice Chancellor’s Office of Academic Research at Kabul University. Its primary objective is to promote a culture of innovation and creativity within the university, enabling the institution to effectively benefit from the ideas, initiatives, and innovations of its faculty members and students.

The department is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and documenting innovative projects and initiatives. Following assessment, these innovations are systematically recorded in a dedicated university database. This information is then shared with the leadership of Kabul University and the Ministry of Higher Education to support informed decision-making, recognition, and further development.

By institutionalizing innovation and providing mechanisms for support and advancement, the department not only encourages and motivates innovators but also contributes significantly to the scientific and technological progress of the country.
