Vision:

  • To build an excellent reputation at national, regional and international levels by providing a quality, effective and efficient computer science education to the students.
  • To produce quality computer scientists at bachelor, master and doctoral levels who could be leaders, researchers, educators, problem solvers, life-long-learners and entrepreneurs by involving stakeholders and applying principles of continual quality improvement to enhance its program and faculty.
  • Participate and promote inter-disciplinary research and innovative activities among professionals and contribute to the Afghanistan’s economy and self-sustainability.

Mission:

  • To educate highly qualified students based on widely accepted educational practices for a successful professional career.
  • To provide a learning environment that can help students learn professional, research, leadership, problem-solving, life-long-learning and entrepreneurship skills.
  • To produce graduates with necessary professional skills that can propose, plan, design, build, develop, manage, maintain and secure technological solutions and infrastructures that can help Afghanistan in building a transparent, reliable, strong and self-sustainable economy and governance.

Objectives:

  • Ability to design, implement and evaluate a computer-based system or program that meets the needs of organizational stakeholders.
  • Ability to criticize interface front-end, system back-end, analyze data and apply technical solutions to computerized systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with information system stakeholder’s /business partners, users, customers, third-party providers as well as system analysts, designers and developers.
