Conference on Environmental Sustainability, Disasters, and Natural Resources Management" concluded.
Kabul University held a one-day scientific-research conference titled "Environmental Sustainability, Disasters, and Natural Resources Management."
The conference was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Higher Education and Kabul University, the Director General of the Environmental Protection Agency, faculty members from 14 public and private universities, representatives from 13 national and international organizations, and students.
Speakers in this inauguration, emphasized the importance of ecological preservation, categorizing the protection of natural resources and environment as a fundamental requirement for human survival.
During the conference, 24 scientific-research papers focusing on environmental protection, natural resources, and disaster management were conducted across three specialized academic halls, each overseen by a righteous jury of experts.
Every session was followed by a structured period for debate and academic discourse, allowing participants to evaluate methodologies and findings.
In the concluding session, the Dean of the Faculty of Environment delivered a comprehensive synthesis of the research findings and general and key points derived from the proceedings.
In accordance with the policy of the Ministry of Higher Education of I.E.A (Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan), all scientific-research papers and the summary of discussions from this conference will be shared with all relevant agencies for implementation and utilization.
