Introduction

Introduction:

The advancement and development of any country around the world is in urgent need of science and knowledge, and these two elements are strikingly achieved through research. Progress and development are the most important economic, social, cultural, industrial and political elements of each country, and both of these elements are possible through research because most of the technologies, factors and techniques of production are developed through research. Therefore, there is no country in the world that has achieved economic and industrial development without comprehensive scientific development.

Therefore, prioritizing research and technology as a critical issue is one of the fundamental needs of progress and a driver for sustainable development and prosperity and a genuine, independent society. Kabul University is Afghanistan's largest, most senior and most prestigious university, which established the Research Foundation "Scientific Research Center" in 1963. The Scientific Research Center was founded by 1990 as a scientific organ according to international standards, and scientific research was carried out at various centers. However, not all Kabul University Scientific Research Center, like other public infrastructures, was destroyed during civil wars and did not survive. In 2003, the center opened its doors again and is currently playing a key role in conducting scientific and research activities to all academic institutions throughout the country.
