Department of Pharmaceutics

This department offers higher education in the field of pharmaceutics to students holding a Pharm. D degree. subject area taught by this department include: Pharmaceutics I, Pharmaceutics II, Pharmaceutics III, Pharmaceutics IV, biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics, industrial pharmacy, medical equipment and managing drug supply.

Objectives
  • To provide pharmacy students with requisite knowledge regarding the required equipment and method for preparation of pharmaceutical formulation
  • To provide pharmacy students with requisite knowledge and technical and scientific skills for working in pharmaceutical industry, community pharmacy, pharmaceutical supply chain
  • To ensure that the students, upon graduation, will appreciate and demonstrate the importance and significance of research in advancing pharmaceutical products
  • To ensure that the students, upon graduation will be able to work in hospital pharmacy, community pharmacy.
  • To provide pharmacy students with requisite knowledge for conducting research in different area of pharmaceutics

The three-day workshop for the students of the Department of Theater of the Faculty of Fine Arts was concluded by the guest professor (Dr. Edmund Chow) from Singapore.
