Ministry of Higher Education's DARP MIS Workshop convened
A one-day capacity-building workshop was convened for 'DARP MIS,' an electronic system for academic staff appointments and academic promotions.
This advanced online platform which is accessible from any location, systematically aggregates comprehensive data regarding academic faculty members, including identification, recruitment, academic promotions, resignations, professional development, scholarly publications, and academic scholarships. Following data processing and storage, the system generates analytical reports to facilitate strategic decision-making.
The workshop was organized by the Directorate of Academic Staff Appointments and Academic Promotions of the Ministry of Higher Education, in coordination with the Vice-chancellery for Academic Affairs of Kabul University.
The primary objective was to provide professors and relevant administrative officials with practical training on the framework's architecture and operational utilization.
