Outstanding and Deserving Students Honored with Cash Awards
Distinguished and deserving students from various faculties of Kabul University were formally recognized and presented with cash awards. These financial endowments were provided by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Kabul.
The ceremony held for this occasion was attended by high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Higher Education, the leadership of Kabul University, the diplomatic delegation of the Chinese Embassy, faculty members, and students.
During the event, officials from the Ministry of Higher Education expressed their appreciation for this initiative by the Chinese Embassy, describing it as an important step toward strengthening academic cooperation and mutual support between the two nations. They also emphasized the need to establish and further fortify scientific and technological ties between the universities of both countries.
Mr. Sun Yi, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Kabul, stated that the objective of these awards is to motivate and encourage Afghan students. He expressed hope that this young generation would play an active role in the development and progress of Afghanistan, noting that academic collaboration will continue to strengthen bilateral relations.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of cash prizes and certificates of appreciation to eighty selected outstanding and deserving students.
