The Konkor (University Entrance Exam) process of Kabul

The process of taking the entrance exam for 1400 in Kabul started on Thursday, August 5th, 2021 with the presence of excellency Dr. Abbas Basir, Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Osman Babury Chancellor of Kabul University and Prof. Abdul Qadir Khamosh, Head of National Examinations Department at Kabul University. .
Dr. Abbas Basir, Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Osman Babury Chancellor of Kabul University, and Professor Abdul Qadir Khamoush, Director of the National Examinations Office, each emphasized on the transparency and fairness in the entrance examination, saying that the entrance examination system was designed and adjusted in such a way that no forgery; fraud cannot penetrate it and the candidates in this area are completely confident and the only measure of success will be the talent, ability and competence of the candidates.
The Kabul Konkor will be taken in four rounds, the first and second rounds on Thursday (August 5th) and the third and fourth rounds on Friday (August 6th) in public universities. Thousands of volunteers will take part in these four rounds.
The entrance exams of 33 other provinces of the country have already been taken in two rounds. Professor Abdul Qadir Khamoush, head of the National Examinations Office, said that a total of 214,981 candidates took part in the general entrance exam, religious sciences, and night-shift universities in 1400, of which 133,184 were males and 81797 were females.
